Pre-K Four-year-olds
Our pre-K 4’s provide a fun yet purposeful environment for social development as well as training in the fundamentals of academic learning. Children are provided experiences in Language, Arts, Math, Physical Development, Science, Spiritual Development, Social & Emotional Development and Music. Our Fours program highlights a letter a week, through phonemic awareness while integrating the whole language approach. Children will grasp mathematical concepts through hands on activities. They will be provided opportunities to challenge and exercise their whole body. Science is integrated into the program through exploration, discovery, experimentation, and asking questions. Bible is woven into everyday life as well as scripture memorization, bible stories and music. BLC assists individuals gain knowledge socially as well as emotionally in a safe and stimulating environment.


Pre-K Five year olds
The pre-K 5’s program integrates whole language and phonemic awareness into a literature based learning experience. Literacy concepts and skills are supported and strengthened through a variety of activities including story dictation, classroom big book projects, cooking, art projects, music, and literature studies. Mathematics is a way of ordering and thinking about the world. It is much more than learning to count, read, and write numbers. The Fives program is all about grasping mathematical concepts through a knowledge of objects discovered by experience and observation. 5 year olds are beginning to be more involved in their own faith and learning. Children will learn they talk to God through prayer and He answers them. Participation in Praise and Worship happens each week in Chapel where children continue to learn that Jesus is God’s Son.
