Kindergarten

Kindergarten integrates Language Arts, Math, Music, Art, PE, Social Studies, Science, Bible and Chapel throughout our full day program. McMillian/McGraw-Hill curriculum is used to provide instruction and promote love of language. Math Trailblazers is a manipulative based curriculum promoting math comprehension. Children use a variety of media with an emphasis on non-verbal expression with the Art Masterpiece curriculum. Kindergartners are presented with familiar stories from the old and new testament daily. Bible songs, drama, poems and other hands-on activities are used to enhance each unit. Children are encouraged to observe, discriminate and describe using various objects in and out of the classroom. Children are introduced to the world surrounding them and how they relate to it.
